The free trial version allows the user to use most of the features and functions of Voovees Director. The trial version has two limitations: your rendered output will be limited to the first 15 seconds, in low-resolution and has a Voovees Director watermark over it; and that only users of full version can get more content-packs as they become available.
For normal operations of Voovees Director you won't need to be connected to the internet. You only need it when Voovees Director checks and updates your DirectorX version online upon installation.
